Do you..

...experience a writing block and progress very slowly?

...want to establish a more productive writing practice?

...need concrete strategies to ‘get something down on paper’?

...want to get the best experience out of working with your PhD or research project?

...feel that the text you write is not academic enough?

...are overwhelmed by the fact that you are going to ‘start writing your thesis’?

...panic because there are only three months left of your PhD?

Then coaching might be for you.

“The coaching has taught me how setting small realistic goals can drive my writing forward effectively, and give me the valuable feeling of being in charge of the process.”

- Maj Dalsgaard, PhD candidate, Aarhus School of Architecture

Common themes in the coaching sessions are:

·       Handling the fear that what I write is not good enough

·       To develop a personal writing practice and prioritize between tasks

·       To make a plan and structure the writing process

·       To make clear and realistic writing goals

·       To use feedback in a constructive manner

·       To take initiative to write together with others

Our approach to coaching

We always approach your writing practice as an integrated part of your work life. Therefore, it can also be relevant to address your work-life balance, planning, other work tasks or collaboration with your supervisor or colleagues as part of the process. But it is always your choice to decide which topics we address. The goal is to create a personal writing strategy that fits you!

Please feel free to contact us if you have a question or want to book a session.
